ABOUT
With a background in scientific research and an eye for design, I've carved out a niche in creating simple, elegant designs and campaigns from even the most complex starting point. I work with clients to cut through the complexity and find the points that resonate.

Much of my career has been creating graphics for litigation, often taking stacks of briefs and expert reports to create outlines, and then finished presentations for use in court. Topics are highly technical, but must be explained to jurors with no formal training. It's therefore essential to not only learn the material quickly and be able to workshop concepts with experts and attorneys, but to be able to generate presentations that are meaningful and persuasive to the average person. In this capacity, I support clients both remotely and on-site as they prepare for and argue at trial. I am honored to have the trust of my legal clients to support them during critical, high-pressure moments in their career. I have worked closely with Chicago Winter Company for many years on larger litigation projects, but also work with other clients as freelance support.

My love for data and "making things pretty" has also brought me to Marketing and design, where I've worked both in-house and within agencies developing digital strategies and overseeing brand and creative. With a scientific background that's less-than-typical for your average strategist, I take a data-driven approach to reach the right people with the right message and ultimately to grow a brand. While it is a different world from trial graphics, with an entirely different language, I've found the two complement each other in my work; I've become a better Marketer by serving my legal clients and vice versa.

I'm based in beautiful Portland, OR, and live there with my husband, two dogs, and cat. When I'm not working I'm out walking my dogs, hiking, camping, reading, and drawing.
